The Best Wireless Earbuds Under $100 in 2026: Four Lab-Backed Picks, Chosen by What You Need

Measured battery life and noise cancelling from SoundGuys and RTINGS, dated prices, and a clear reason for each pick, sorted by the kind of listener it suits.

This guide covers true wireless earbuds with a US list price or typical street price under $100, checked on September 30, 2026. To make the list, a pair needed published lab measurements, battery life with noise cancelling on and noise-cancelling performance, from SoundGuys or RTINGS, plus official support from its maker in the US. This is an editorial shortlist, not a ranking. The four picks below are sorted by the kind of listener each one suits, because at this price the right choice depends more on how you use earbuds than on a single score.

A few things matter more under $100 than they do at the top end. Noise cancelling varies a lot, so measured reduction is the number to look at, not the maker's 'up to 98%' claims. Battery life with noise cancelling on is what you actually get on a commute or a flight. LDAC, the higher-bitrate Bluetooth codec that several of these support, only works with Android phones; on an iPhone, everything falls back to AAC and sounds broadly alike. And microphones are the weakest area almost across the board. If you take a lot of calls, see the note near the end.

Best overall: EarFun Air Pro 4+. SoundGuys' top pick under $100 cut outside noise by an average of 80% with noise cancelling on in its testing, and 63% from the fit alone. That is the strongest all-round result on this list. They lasted 6 hours 17 minutes per charge with noise cancelling on in SoundGuys' standardized test, well short of EarFun's 'up to 12 hours' rating; SoundGuys notes the real figure depends on which features you have enabled. They also support both LDAC and aptX Lossless, so almost any Android phone gets a higher-quality connection. The list price is $99.99, and SoundGuys reported them at $74.98 on Amazon on September 15, 2026. Buy them if you want the most complete package and can live with charging the buds every six hours or so.

Best for the money: CMF Buds 2 Plus. Nothing's budget brand sells these for $69 on its US store, and they were $59 there on September 30, 2026. That makes them the cheapest pair here at list price. SoundGuys measured up to 83% noise reduction, the best on this list on paper, with a caveat: they are weaker at the lowest frequencies (50 to 100 Hz), so engine rumble leaks through more than chatter does. Battery is strong. SoundGuys got 10 hours 22 minutes per charge, though with noise cancelling off, so expect less with it on. They also support LDAC and include a hearing-test feature that tunes the sound to your ears. Buy them if you want strong noise cancelling for daily commuting and spending under $70 matters more than having the absolute best all-rounder.

Best battery with noise cancelling: Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. In SoundGuys' test they ran 9 hours 53 minutes with noise cancelling on, the longest measured result on this list, and the case adds roughly 50 hours more. Anker says a 10-minute charge gives about 4 hours of playback. They support LDAC and wireless charging, which is still rare at this price, and SoundGuys picked them as its best-featured pair under $100. The list price is $99.99, but they are sold at a discount most of the time, with deals from about $57 to $70 common on Amazon. Buy them if you fly or commute long distances and want to forget about charging for a day of use.

RTINGS' pick: Soundcore Space A40. These are the best earbuds under $100 RTINGS has tested. It credits noise cancelling that competes with much more expensive earbuds, especially against low airplane-engine noise and cabin chatter, and rates battery life at about eight hours with noise cancelling on. SoundGuys measured 7 hours 55 minutes, so the two labs agree. The catch, according to RTINGS, is a weak microphone. The Space A40 is also the oldest design here, first released in 2022, which is why it is so often discounted. Soundcore lists it at $99.99 (checked September 30, 2026), but it sold for $44.98 through Anker's own Amazon store in March 2026. Buy it if you mainly want quiet on planes and trains and can wait for a sale price.

Two situations call for something else. If you take a lot of calls, RTINGS names the CMF Buds Pro 2 its best pick under $100 for work, because RTINGS found their microphone records voices much more clearly than the Space A40's and handles background noise decently. If you use an iPhone and want effortless pairing, RTINGS' iPhone pick under $100 is the Beats Flex, a neckband design with Apple's W1 chip. If you have small ears, SoundGuys recommends the JLab JBuds Mini at a list price of $39.

One practical warning about prices: every pair here regularly sells well below its list price, and older models like the Liberty 4 NC and Space A40 are discounted most often. Check the day's price before deciding between them, because a $30 gap can easily flip which one is the better value. Noise cancelling and battery behavior can also change with firmware updates, so the lab results above describe these earbuds as tested, on the dates listed in each lab's review.
